How Mobile Surveys Work
A survey is described in a Survey Description Language and is presented to the respondent using the most appropriate method. The method supported are called Text, Browser, and Application.
The survey description can include routing, whereby the answer to a question determines the next question to be presented. Many question types are supported, including Informational, Binary, Free Form Text, Numeric, Multiple Choice (Single), Multiple Choice (Many), Constant Sum, Order Items, Rank Items, Group of Questions
Example
This example survey demonstrates a range of question types, presented using the Browser method.
This survey begins with an Informational Question that includes a branding image and a link to click through to the first quesiton.

Multiple Choice Question Only one of the items can be selected, which returns the answer to the server and requests the next question. The next question is based on the answer chosen. |

Multiple Choice Question Another multiple choice question, but this time many options can be selected. |

Free Form Text Question The keypad is used in text entry mode to enter the answer, then the answer is submitted by clicking through the 'Next' link below. |

Binary Question Yes/No options. |

Informational Question Another Informational Question to close out the survey. No action is required of the respondent. There is an opportunity to deliver the incentive here; perhaps a digital gift, such as a ringtone, or a redeemable coupon. |
